A votive sacrifice is a sacrifice offered to fulfill a promise (vow) made to God. It is performed as an act of gratitude, after a wish has been granted, or as the fulfillment of a commitment made during a time of difficulty; it is a powerful expression of faith and sincerity.
🕊️ If you vowed to offer a sacrifice as an act of worship when a blessing comes to you—such as healing, success, or ease—the time has come to fulfill that vow in a way that is most pleasing to Allah .
